We went to the Technology House. Our class and Miss Wenningís class went. We got there by bus. When we got there, we went to the main room. There were computers and seats. The people who work there and some visitors were there.
We learned about Google Glasses. You can take pictures with them. The glasses are like little TV screens. They have a square that you see. There is something in the back that helps you talk and hear.
The class did Angry Bird mazes. You had to use the codes to move the Angry Bird or the Zombies. You had to think about how you were going to put the codes together. If there was a pattern, you could press the repeat button. If you made a mistake, it made you run into crates and then you had to try again. You can skip levels without playing all of them.
Scratch is a cool website we went to. You can make holiday cards with it. There are people or animals and you can make them talk if you use code.
Hour of Code was a great way to learn all about code. If we didn't do it, we wouldn't know what code was. It was codepic (a word we made up today-- code+epic).
